413模式

改變傳統教學中以者師為中心的單向傳遞知識模式,改以學生為中心,老師作為促導者,協助學生建構知識,教授或提問時間只佔課堂四分一,其餘四分三學生作主導討論、提問、展示及進行鞏固活動。

The “413 teaching approach” emphasizes that the teacher is a facilitator. Under this approach the teacher utilizes the first quarter of class time to explain and focus students’ thinking on the topic area, so as to raise their interest and support their active construction of knowledge. The remaining class time is led by the students themselves generating discussions, questions, preparing and doing presentations and related activities. The teacher facilitates and motivates children to explore and discover in order to construct their own learning during this process. In this way, children become more creative and adventurous learners. This is very different to the traditional teaching method where the teacher always leads the class.
